A Documentary by Pierre-Olivier François and Pierre Bourgeois

This documentary aims to witness the countdown to the discovery of a treatment for Alzheimer’s disease. The actors in this “revolution on the march” are researchers, doctors, lab assistants, and the patients suffering from the disease. All live with the great hope inspired by the discovery of effective medicines. The film goes inside Paris’s La Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital, a hub of French neurological research, and follows a team of researchers working under Professor Bruno Dubois. With their colleagues at other French research centers, they form a network of excellence in a race against the clock, to defeat a disease that attacks the very essence of humanity: its memory.
