interscience film

INTERSCIENCE FILM is a film production company with offices in Heidelberg, Berlin and Paris. It was founded in 1978. Managing directors are the author and director Gero von Boehm and his wife Christiane von Boehm.
Since then INTERSCIENCE FILM has been producing documentaries, docu-dramas, talk shows and magazines on topics from the fields of art, culture, science, history and current affairs. Another focus lies on film portraits of eminent personalities of contemporary history. Between 2002 and 2010 INTERSCIENCE FILM monthly produced the series “Gero von Boehm meets…” for the cultural channel 3Sat. From January 2008 until the end of 2009 INTERSCIENCE FILM produced the cultural talk “Paris-Berlin, the debate” for ARTE in which, presented by Thea Dorn, current issues of politics and culture were discussed.
INTERSCIENCE FILM works regularly for ZDF, ARTE, 3Sat, SWR, WDR, NDR, Deutsche Welle, Servus TV, FRANCE 2 and RAI.

Gero von Boehm
Author / Director / Producer / Manager

Born in 1954 in Hannover, Germany, he is an author, director and producer of more than 100 documentary and re-enactment films. Gero von Boehm has written and directed several award-winning portraits of artists and writers and he hosted his own talkshow and several interview programs. He is “Chevalier des Arts et des lettres” and a member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences in New York. He lives in Berlin and France.
