INTERSCIENCE FILM is a German-French production company with offices in Heidelberg, Berlin and Paris. Managing director is the author and director Gero von Boehm, who founded, together with his wife Christiane, the company in 1978.
Since then INTERSCIENCE FILM produced documentaries, docu-dramas, talk shows and magazines on topics from the fields of art, culture, science, history and current affairs. Another focus is on film portraits of eminent personalities of contemporary history. For the cultural channel 3Sat INTERSCIENCE FILM produces since 2002 every month the series Gero von Boehm meets….
INTERSCIENCE FILM works regularly for ZDF, Arte, 3Sat, WDR, NDR, FRANCE 2, and the RAI.
Outstanding productions in recent years include the the series “Palaces of power I and II” (2004 and 2007), the docu-drama “Karol Wojtyla - secrets of a pope” with Michael Mendl and Mario Adorf (2006), the docu-drama series ” Giants “with Maximilian Schell, Uwe Ochsenknecht and Matthias Habich (2007) and the series” Between the frontlines” with Peter Scholl-Latour (2008) for ZDF.
From January 2008 until the end of 2009 INTERSCIENCE FILM has produced for ARTE the cultural talk Paris-Berlin, the debate in which, moderated by Thea Dorn, current issues of politics and culture are discussed.
In the 30 years since its creation INTERSCIENCE FILM has built up and follow up with a world wide network of directors, collaborators and contacts.
